Project Eden.  

Project Eden is a botanical garden locates on a territory of a career where mined kaolin before. 

Project is at a distance on 1,5 kilometer from St Blazey city and 4,8 kilometer from the biggest St Austell city of Cornwall county. 

 

The complex consists of two greenhouses, each of which is series of connected domes. There are many species of plants from around the world in the domes. 

 

Some biomasses characteristic for humid equatorial forests and for mediterranean climate are created in the greenhouse.

 

Tropical vegetation presents in the first greenhouse, mediterranean vegetation is in the second.

 

The idea of the project belonged to Tom Smit. The project developed by architecture Nicolas Grimshaw and team «Anthony Hunt & Partners».
